The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM), Office of Contracts (CON) located at 330 Independence Ave, SW Washington, D.C. 20237, intends to award a sole source contract to Abstraction Media Inc. for $250,000.00.

The VOA Persian Service has a requirement for a TV entertainment series highlighting young Iranian-Americans hosted by celebrity Iranian-America Max Amini doing business as Abstraction Media Inc. VOA Persian will use this as a way to attract and retain its target audience of 18-35 year-olds who are located in Iran and other Farsi-speaking communities around the world. By acquiring this series of TV programs, the VOA Persian service would improve its broadcast programming.

Contractor shall produce a lifestyle series for television broadcast that will introduce successful Iranian-Americans living along the American West Coast by telling their compelling stories and highlighting the important roles that they play in the mainstream of America. Episodes should feature aspects of Iranian-Americans that will provide an accurate understanding of America. Each episode will be 24 minutes in length. The contractor shall deliver ten (10) TV ready-episodes to the agency, all in the Persian (Farsi) language.

Said company shall be responsible for coordinating all talent; music; travel accommodations; pre and post production expenses. The finished series must be appealing to target Farsi-speaking audiences between the ages of 18-35 years old.

Voice of America shall retain all copyrights associated with this special and no distribution of finished project is permissible.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive price proposals. Interested firms must submit a written response that demonstrates their ability to provide the above.
