1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2) This is a request for quotes (RFQ) 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 26. 4) This RFQ is for 43 Kavo Diagnodent Pens 2190 or equal. The product brochure is attached. 5) The quote should include the Dianodent Pens, occlusal tips, sterilization cassettes, and autoclavable handpeice sheath. 6) Delivery of items will be up to 30 days after the order is placed. This is FOB destination and the delivery will be made to the Dental Officer at 650 Capitol Mall, Suite 7-100, Sacramento, CA 95814. 7) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 8) Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation—Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The lowest price technically acceptable is the most important evaluation criteria. 9) Quotes should include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items with their quote.
