This Sources Soght Synopsis is in support of Market Research being counducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential consultation and accreditation services. The David Grant USAF Medical Center (DGMC) is accredited as a healthcare organization with The Joint Commission, a national and international accrediting organization. Accreditation is required under DOD 6025.13, MHS Clinical Quality Assurance Program Regulation and AFI 44-119, Medical Quality Operations. Since DGMC is a graduate medical education site, Joint Commission accreditation is also a requirement to maintain residencies in good standing. David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) seeks an on-site, in-depth review of its patient care and administrative processes that support accreditation by The Joint Commission, under standards published in the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals, current year. This review is expected to be conducted in the form of a combined mock survey and education forum. Â
