HARNEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDSDESIGN, PRECONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES Qualifications Due 4:00 pm, April 1, 2024 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONSThrough this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the Harney County Fairgrounds invites interested and qualified Design-Builders to submit Statements of Qualifications to provide design, preconstruction and construction services for the construction of a new Event Center at the Harney County Fairgrounds in Burns, Oregon. The County has developed a conceptual design for the Project, tailored to meet the needs of the community and the available construction budget. At this time, the scope of work for the Project includes the demolition of the five livestock barns, show ring, and the Paddock Area; the removal and/or relocation of existing utilities; and the design, manufacture and installation of a new 225' x 275' PEMB, and an attached 65' x 275' lean to structure. The 61,875 square foot PEMB will serve as a multi-purpose facility capable of hosting a multitude of events. The attached 17,875 square foot lean-to structure will provide facilities to replace the existing livestock barns.
