The National Gallery of Art (NGA) intends to enter into sole source procurement with Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern, Inc. for work, which includes the design for modifying the existing chilled water plant. The original chiller plant design contract with HSMM has recently expired. Based on the historical design data complied, and following the original design parameters, it is in the Galleries best interest to enter into sole source procurement for the design modifications. If there are no responses to this special notice of intent by July 31, 2008, the NGA will begin the procurement action to establish fixed price contract with the company identified above for the Architectural Design Services described.
