General Project Information
Design and construct channel maintenance structure at two (2) arroyo locations and channel excavation within the Rio Grande Canalization Project (RGCP) in Dona Ana County, New Mexico.
The work requires design and construction of an excavated channel to remove localized sediment and vegetated islands within the main Rio Grande from the Rincon to Bignell Arroyos. At the Rincon and Reed Arroyos, the work requires evaluation of alternatives, design, and construction of channel maintenance structures to reduce sediment inflow to the RGCP.

The Design‑Builder shall be responsible for complying with all applicable regulations, laws, or permitting authorities pertaining to construction of this project.
This work is located in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. A site visit will be listed in the solicitation.
Magnitude
The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Other Information
The solicitation, plans, and specifications are expected to be posted on or about June 18, 2018 (this is a target date which may slip or change; if the solicitation is not posted on Federal Business Opportunities by June 18, 2018 that is because the solicitation is not available for posting). The solicitation will be available for a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days. Award is expected to be made on or before September 30, 2018.

This requirement shall be solicited using Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) SUBPART 36.3.
