DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON FACILITIES DEPARTMENT CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT / GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES (CM/GC) DESCHUTES COUNTY PAROLE & PROBATION/SHERIFF'S OFFICE WORK CENTER Proposals Due 2:00 pm, October 1, 2019 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Deschutes County is requesting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the Construction Manage ment/General Contracting services of the Parole & Proba tion/Sheriff's Office Work Center remodel and addition. Work will consist of remodeling approximately 7,450 square foot of an existing 2-story CMU building with gyp-crete over wood frame & decking. The remodel consists of 50% minor (space configuration, finishes, MEP) and 50% major (stair recon figuration, restroom adds/relocations, finishes, MEP). The addition will consist of approximately 5,980 square foot of second floor space to the roof area of the same building. Project includes the addition of one elevator, site fencing, storm drain modifications, trash enclosure and parking enhancements. The total Project cost, including architec tural, engineering, permits and construction, is estimated to be $ 4,500,000. An informational Mandatory pre-proposal conference will be conducted September 18, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., at the Deschutes County Adult Parole & Probation Building 2nd Floor, 63360 Britta (Building 2), Bend, OR 97703. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the County's expectations and to answer questions. All firms wishing to submit a proposal must be represented at this meeting. The CM/GC selection process will be carried out per ORS 279C.337 and Deschutes County Code. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 01, 2019.
