DESCHUTES COUNTY FACILITIES DEPARTMENT DESCHUTES COUNTY COURTHOUSE EXPANSION PROJECT OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE SERVICES Proposals due 2:00 pm, October 26, 2021 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Deschutes County is requesting proposals from qualified firms or teams to provide professional Owner's Represent ative services to facilitate the Planning, Design, Bidding, and Construction of a new Courthouse Expansion Project. The intent of the project is to develop a ~ 38,000-40,000 s.f. addition to the existing Courthouse that was constructed in 1977 with expansions/remodels conducted in 1997, 2005, 2012 & 2021. The new addition will consist of approximately 29,000 s.f. of finished space for new Courtrooms, Jury Assembly, Hearing Rooms, Court Security Screening, Administration and 9,000 s.f. of basement Secure Parking & In-custody Transport. In addition to the Owner's Representative facilitating the planning, design, bidding and construction of this project, they will also assist with the Design Services and CM/GC selection process. An informational mandatory pre-proposal conference will be conducted October 14, 2021 at 9:00 a.m., via Zoom. Meeting link will be emailed to all firms requesting an RFP packet. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the County's expectations and to answer questions. All firms wishing to submit a proposal must be represented at this meeting. The consultant selection process will be carried out per ORS 279C.110 and Deschutes County Code. Submittals are due by 2:00 PM on October 26, 2021.
