Background
The United States Government Printing Office (GPO) seeks information for a space analysis and technical evaluation for GPO's Depository Distribution Division. GPO desires services provided by an expert consultant with experience and/or knowledge of state-of-the-art systems, processes, equipment utilized in book, or other applicable, distribution and warehouse operations. This request is for a review of existing operations to provide an analysis of the current space requirements, physical location, operations and systems of the Depository Distribution Division. The request also includes a technical evaluation of the computer systems and components associated with the physical distribution process.
Purpose:
This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is not a Request for Proposals, no solicitation document exits. Responses to this sources sought notice will not serve as proposals, bids or offers, which could be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the Government. Responses are due no later than 3:00 p.m. (EST) on February 12, 2010.
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain market research information from qualified companies with the capabilities of expert consultant with experience and/or knowledge of state-of-the-art systems, processes, equipment utilized in book, or other applicable, distribution and warehouse operations.
Requested Information:
Interested companies are requested to submit capability statement (10 pages or less, do not include Marketing literature) that address the company's ability to perform the services described above, three client references of similar projects; company points of contact and GSA Schedule number if applicable.
