The Government Printing Office, Library Services and Content Management, administers the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), the Cataloging and Indexing Program, the International Exchange Service and the By-Law Distribution Program.  A primary responsibility of Library Services and Content Management is the dissemination of tangible U.S. government publications to FDLP libraries.   In support of this mission, GPO requires both a case sealer and a conveyor system to replace existing equipment that seals and moves filled boxes of publications. 

The case sealer must be fully automated, so that a human interface is not required to move boxes in and out of it.  We need to accommodate 3" wide tape that is not water based, and varying box sizes.  It must attach to a conveyor configuration and we are seeking features that allow it to be easily moved should we redesign our operation.  The conveyor system needs to move over 500 boxes per day, providing automatic transfer off and on a scale.  It will need to be configured to meet our current operational structure and include a few pass-throughs.  We will be looking for other features that maximize operations and provide an easier reconfiguration should the need occur.
