The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement to procure a deployable onshore Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and Dewatering System, to include training and technical support, capable of processing up to 1,500 gallons per minute (gpm). This equipment will support the Hazardous Algal Bloom Interception, Treatment and Transformation Systems (HABITATS) Program in its efforts to develop and demonstrate a scalable capability to remove floating microalgae from large water bodies and develop resource recovery methods that enable efficient management of the resulting concentrated solids.
