The Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, intends to solicit a sole source requirement for the High Energy Liquid Laser Area Defense System (HELLADS) Demonstrator Laser Weapon System. IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Glenn Tyler Associates (dba tOSC), 1314 South Sunkist Street, Anaheim, CA 92806-5614.

This procurement is for the continued development of highly specialized equipment, including major components. Under the contemplated contract, the contractor will complete the development of the equipment and associated software, verify its performance, and perform system modeling that supports design decisions and test planning. Completion of this effort will be approximately 39 months from date of award.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541712 with a size standard of 500 employees.
