The Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is currently accepting bids for Demolition of Railcar. Potential bidders must be registered on the PCCA’s procurement website at https://pocca.procureware.com to obtain the contract documents. Scope of work generally consists of preparing for disposal of a railcar (located adjacent to Rincon Road) by demolishing and containing the railcar and associated debris in a method that prevents the spread of lead dust and/or debris to the surrounding areas or the environment. Contractor is required to establish air monitoring and appropriate worker protections during demolition and containment activities due to the presence of lead. Railcar is not to be thermally cut or recycled. A virtual pre‑bid meeting is scheduled at 9:00 A.M. CST on Thursday, February 23, 2023, with a site visit to follow at 1:30 P.M.
