The work to be performed consist, in general, of demolition of improvements at 4600 California Avenue (Citizens Bank) and 3899 Stockdale Highway (Remainder) (Phase 23 Demolition of Improvements) and removal of all structures, foundations, landscaping, walls, fences where designated, debris, out buildings, swimming pools, septic tanks/leach fields, AC/PCC parking lots, sidewalks and patios, asbestos or lead containing materials, site grading to match adjacent grades and application of soil erosion measures. Pursuant to Part 7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code (Section 1720 et seq.), the Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages to workers on this project as determined by the Director of California Department of Industrial Relations. Interested bidders must log in and download complete bid specifications available under the “Documents/Attachments” tab. A project site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at 4600 California Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93309. Contractors wishing to bid this project will be able to walk thru the site at that time. While this is not mandatory in order to bid on this project, the City strongly recommends that all contractors wishing to bid on this project attend this site visit.
