RFP’s will be opened at Public Works, 1700 N. McAree Rd., and Bid Proposals will be due June 21, 2023 at 9:00 am. Bid Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the Bidder and the words: Sealed RFP: June 21, 2023 Demolition of Animal Shelter Building Bid Proposals shall be addressed to City of Waukegan, 1700 N. McAree Rd., Waukegan Illinois 60085 and must be received before 9:00 a.m on June 21, 2023. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a completed, notarized application form and submitted on the enclosed proposal form. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting at Public Works will be held by Owner on June 14, 2023 beginning at 1:00 p.m at 1700 N. McAree Road, Waukegan, Illinois 60085.. The purpose of the meeting is to review the Scope of the Work and Specifications and allow an opportunity to inspect the Work Site and ask any questions at that time. Attendance by Bidders is mandatory and the City reserves the right to reject Bid Proposals from Bidders who fail to attend.
