NETCENTS-2 SOLICITATION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions.

The solicitation document FA8604-18-F-1136 - Dell Powervault Products, is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-98. Reference the solicitation number in the subject line of the RFQ response.

This requirement is for the following products: see attached Bill of Materials (BOM) for requirement specifications.

This is a Brand Name Only Requirement: see attached J&A.

All items must be TAA compliant in accordance with FAR.

DPAS rating is DO-A7.

NETCENTS-2 pricing is required.

Award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror.  Vendors submitting a response to any RFQ that includes a requirement for supplies and/or services that have incurred, or that may incur laps in maintenance support, shall include as part of its response any applicable reinstatement fee(s).

Quotes are due by 9:00 a.m. EST on 15 June 2018 and shall be emailed directly to [email protected].  Anticipated Award Date is 29 June 2018. 

Lt Col Peter A. Sandness has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.

Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
