The United States Department Of Naval Medical Research Center(NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to Princeton University, Princeton, NH. 08544. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses.

1. The government has a requirement for the contractor to generate transgenic mice that contain humanized livers, infect those livers with BSL-2 agent (malaria), and extract the liver stage form of the parasite using laser capture microdissection.
POP will be 4 months from date of award. Mice specifications are as follows:
 
Order #1 Ship 24 human liver chimeric mice with good level of human liver tissue engraftment, QTY 1/Pk.

Order #2 Infect human liver chimeric mice with P vivax sporozoites (supplied by NAMRU-6)

Order #3 Ship 20 human liver chimeric mice with good level of human liver tissue engraftment.

Order #4 Infect mice containing humanized liver with P. vivax sporozoites (supplied by NMRC)


The NAICS code for this action is 424520. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items.
