The following information is provided to assist the FDA in conducting Market Research to identify potential small business concerns for this effort:
The FDA's Arkansas Regional Laboratory, Jefferson Labs Complex in Jefferson, Arkansas is seeking small business concerns capable of meeting the FDA's requirement for a Service Maintenance Agreement to maintain a Siemens Ultra Pure Laboratory Deionized (DI) Water System with Siemens Energy and Automation brand controls.
Period of performance: June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013
Requirements:
-Two preventative maintenance/service visits per month
-System updated/upgrades
-Furnish and replace Supplies (eig., carbon tanks, DI tanks, micron and tank filters, UV lamps, UV quartz sleeves, multimedia cartridge, water softening salt, etc.)
-Annual system sanitization using ozone gas system
-Service of reverse osmosis unit/membrane cleaning
-Water analysis for heavy metals
-Routine and emergency repair/service calls (2-hour minimum response time)
