The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking small business concerns, including veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and women owned small businesses. The following information is provided to assist the FDA in conducting Market Research to identify potential small business concerns for this effort:

The FDA's Arkansas Regional Laboratory, Jefferson Labs Complex in Jefferson, Arkansas is seeking small business concerns capable of meeting the FDA's requirement for a Service Maintenance Agreement to maintain a Siemens Ultra Pure Laboratory Deionized (DI) Water System with Siemens Energy and Automation brand controls.

Period of performance: June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013

Requirements:
-Two preventative maintenance/service visits per month

-System updated/upgrades

-Furnish and replace Supplies (eig., carbon tanks, DI tanks, micron and tank filters, UV lamps, UV quartz sleeves, multimedia cartridge, water softening salt, etc.)

-Annual system sanitization using ozone gas system

-Service of reverse osmosis unit/membrane cleaning

-Water analysis for heavy metals

-Routine and emergency repair/service calls (2-hour minimum response time)
