The 802d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Medtronic, Inc, 710 Medtronic Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55432 for the purchase of five (5) Secura DR Dual Chambers Inter Cardiac Defibrillators and five (5) Consulta - CRT Defibrillators. Medtronic, Inc is the proprietary vendor and sole distributor of these defibrillators. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the above point of contacts.
