This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number D-16-TR-0129 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Training (TR), has a requirement for two (2), two (2) day Defensive and Evasive Driving course for 20 students per course. Period of Performance – March 21-22 (20 students), 2016 for the first course; and March 23-24 (20 students), 2016 for the second course Place of performance – All courses shall take place at the contractor’s designated training facility. The contractor’s designated training facility shall be within driving distance of the DEA Training Academy, 2500 Investigation Parkway, Quantico, VA 22135. DEA will be responsible for providing transportation for the attendees. The price per course shall include a breakdown of the instructor fee, course material, classroom rental, driver training vehicles, operable rentals, IED simulators and driving facility rental. In addition, the quote shall include a course outline. Partial quotes will not be accepted. The attached Provisions and Clauses are applicable to this requirement. The Government anticipates award of a single, firm-fixed price Purchase Order, based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). All quotes will be evaluated.
