NOTICE OF DEFAULT DATASET FOR CALIFORNIA
STATEMENT OF WORK
I. Background
The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) was established by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.
II. Scope
FHFA requires a dataset of property-level Notice of Default filings data for properties in California for, at minimum, the period between January 1, 2006 and September 30, 2008.
III. Task
The contractor is required to provide an electronic dataset that contains address information and Notice of Default (NOD) filing dates for California properties between January 1, 2006 and September 30, 2008. Data for earlier and later filings dates are not required, but would be of value.
For each Notice of Default record, the following data fields are required:
• NOD Filing Date
• Street Address
• City Name
• State Name (shall always be "CA")
• Zip Code
The file shall be in tab-delimited, ASCII format or in SAS format.
Quarterly updates shall be provided throughout the year containing the most recent property-level NOD filings.
IV. Period of Performance
The initial dataset is due within 30 days from the date of award of the contract award. The contract award shall be made for a base performance period of one year, from date of award. Contract award shall also include four option performance years for a potential contract performance period of five years.
