PUBLIC NOTICE SNOW AND ICE CONTROL DE-ICING CHEMICALS CITY OF WEST DES MOINES DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES CENTRAL IOWA DEICER GROUP Sealed bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, as the representative for the Central Iowa Deicer Group (CIDG) on or before 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 for the following: Bid Item: Snow and Ice Control De-Icing Chemicals Bidder shall submit their bids in a sealed envelope, plainly marked "De-Icing Chemicals Bid”, and be delivered to: Office of the City Clerk City of West Des Moines 4200 Mills Civic Pkwy Suite 2E PO Box 65320 West Des Moines, Iowa 50265-0320 Information may be obtained at the Department of Public Services, 560 S 16th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa by contacting Kevin Hensley, Superintendent of Public Services at 515-222-3480. Unit price shall be final and the CIDG agencies reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities and technicalities as determined to be the best interest of said CIDG agencies. The CIDG Group may elect to award a multi-vendor contract based on unit prices and other factors. Bidders should understand that factors other than price will be used to evaluate the proposals.
