This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for davit replacement parts per the attached Request for Quotes.

The solicitation number is WE133M-11-RQ-0690, and is issued as a RFQ.

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40.

This action is a Total Small Business Set-aside, for NAICS code 333923, with a size standard of no more than 500 employees.

See the attached RFQ for a description of the items to be provided.

All work is to be completed NLT 6Jul2011. The materials shall be delivered to the NOAA Ship FAIRWEATHER at NOAA MOC-P, located at 2002 Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365.

The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis, to the lowest responsible Offerror. All Quotes are to be accompanied by a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.

The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition .

The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition (attached). Any additional clauses that apply to this contract are marked.
