The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for high resolution marine reflection seismic data to be collected from the C1, C2, and C4 canals for a total of two transects. The period of performance will be 06/15/2009-06/14/2010. There are no option years for this requirement. Walker Marine Geophysical Company, LLC. is the only known source for this requirement because they are uniquely capable of obtaining high resolution marine reflection seismic data in small canals and in waters ~1 meter deep. This contractor is also uniquely qualified to process very high resolution multi-channel data particularly in the critical areas of near surface statics, velocity analysis, shallow migration, and marine shooting geometry. Furthermore, Walker Marine uses their own proprietary software to handle correctly the marine geometry which, is critical to stacking the high frequency data previously acquired. The original raw data which is being used in conjunction with the data that will be herein collected was collected by Walker Marine Geophysical Company, LLC. Therefore, in order to maintain continuity of data and consistency of results it is necessary to continue utilizing their services.
