The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency [U S EPA] Environmental Sciences Division [ESD] intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation [FAR] Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to ION SENSE Inc. under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1.  The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase 1.DART 100 Ionization source for direct analysis in real time (DART) 2. DS- Program windows XP based program for DART source. Runs is separate windows on the computer operating the Mass Spectrometer data system. Requires USB interface. 3. SI-110 - Interface flange for mounting DART to Quantum LC/MS system. 4. SI-110 Vapur interface flange for mounting DART to Quantum LC/MS system, ceramic transfer tubes, and MZ2NT diaphragm pump. 5.Two Day installation & Training. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334516.  It has been determined that because of the proprietary coefficients derived from the models, Ion Sense is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement.   Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response which, if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered.  Responses to this posting must be in writing.  A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  All questions should be directed to Kevin Broadnax via email at [email protected].
