The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a sole source basis under authority of FAR 6.302, a contract to DARE America, P. O. Box 512090, Los Angeles, California, 90051-0090, a nonprofit institution for certified DARE instructors to train DoDEA educators and military personnel to deliver the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program in elementary and middle schools. This contract action will be processed using FAR Part 12 and 13 procedures. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, tax exempt, an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing.
This is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting DoDEA's requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. All submissions must be received by the response date and time of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
