Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 04 (NCO 04), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS, Inc.), 12575 US Hwy 1 Ste 200, Juno Beach, FL, 33408-2478, in accordance with FAR 8.405-6. All nine Veterans Integrated Service Network 04 (VISN04) medical centers, and Clarksburg, WV (VISN05), currently utilize the DSS Inc. Clinical Information System Databridge (CIS Databridge). The CIS-Databridge provides a software interface between a CIS and Analytics system and the VA Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) system. The interface provides two-way data transfer between a VistA system and a CIS and one-way transfer from VistA to Analytics. The interface includes patient demographics, TIUs, patient allergies, problem list, care status and delivery, lab orders and results, medication orders and administration, and information regarding surgeries. CIS-Databridge meets the interface requirements for the Anesthesia Record Keeper, Intensive Care Unit and Data Analytics. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DSS, Inc. to procure proprietary licensing, upgrades, upkeep, and unlimited software support for the existing DSS CIS-Databridge software at the above-referenced VA Medical Centers.
