United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) will be hosting a focused forum on Thursday, October 21, 2004 (1 ââ¬â 4 PM). This USJFCOM focused forum will address challenges in improving joint warfighting capabilities from an intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) perspective. Focused forums provide the command an opportunity to disseminate joint warfighting capability needs to industry, academia, and government agencies to discover innovative solutions for a specific operational issue. Primary objectives for the upcoming forum include: 1) Finding ways to improve the ability to visualize, process, disseminate, and analyze incoming data and transform it into actionable information for joint/coalition warfighters, 2) Fusing disparate sources of ISR data into a coherent picture, and 3) Avoiding overloading the user with more data than they can process and understand. Agenda includes presentations on: 1) Improving Joint Warfighting Capabilities from an Operational ISR Perspective, 2) Lessons Learned, 3) Integrated ISR Concept, 4) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Integration, 5) Multi-Sensor Aerospace-Ground Joint ISR Interoperability Coalition Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration, and 6) ISR in Joint Urban Operations. Following these presentations will be an open discussion period to facilitate future technical information exchanges. The meeting will be held at the Chesapeake Conference Center, 900 Greenbrier Circle, Chesapeake, Virginia, (http://www.chesapeakeconference.com/). This event is free to the public and seating is limited on a first come basis.
