The Wilmington VA Medical Center, Wilmington Delaware has requirements to obtain, by the use of Other than Full and Open competition, a XTS5000 Radio system from Triad Marketing Services, INC. located in Allen TX. The Wilmington VA Medical Center currently has a 400 mhz radio system that was recently upgraded by Ewing Engineering, a non SDVOB with enhanced capabilities. Triad Marketing (SDVOB) has worked with Ewing and consulted on the installation of the upgrade. Based on their initmate knowledge of our systems and its current configuration, this would greatly enhance their ability to complete this upgrade from 400 mhz to 800 mhz radio system. They have completed similar work with VA's (VAMC DCVAMC North Las Vegas and VAMC Salisbury) and are aware of VA rules and regulations concerning the operation of radio systems within the VA. The Wilmington VA Medical Center is planing to award sole source to Triad Marketing Services for this reason. This is not a request for quotations.
