This is a sources-sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine how many sources are available to provide Television services to the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, to determine the level of capability, experience and qualifications, and whether it might be suitable for a specific small business socioeconomic group set-aside.
Scope: Either cable or satellite television subscription to the Minneapolis VAHCS.

Television subscription to approximately 600 televisions at the Minneapolis VAHCS shall be provided. Televisions are in patient rooms, break rooms, and some offices.
Existing DirecTV hardware may be utilized to provide television service to the Minneapolis VAHCS. If existing hardware cannot be utilized, contractor shall provide new hardware (capable of utilizing existing infrastructure) at no cost to the Minneapolis VAHCS. Existing hardware is detailed below:

The anticipated period of performance will include 1 12-month Base period and 4 12-month option periods. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 515210 Cable and Other Subscription Programming. The Product Service Code (PSC) D399 IT and Telecom-Telecommunications and Transmission and the Small Business Size Standard is $38.5 Million.

1. Company profile and capability statement comparable to the marketing package your company uses in their ordinary course of business. Please ensure the following information is included: point of contact information, company business size and socioeconomic category such as: Small Business (SB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Veteran- Owned Small Business (VOSB).
2. Provide evidence/certification of the following:
Have previous experience in providing service to other VA Facilities, Government Facilities, or Dormitories. Please provide the facility name, contract scope and dollar value.
Availability of service technicians to provide timely on-site assistance
If using a sub-contractor, provide sub-contractor information and explain how limitations on sub-contracting in accordance with 13 CFR 125.6 will be met.
This Sources Sought Notice is to assist the VA in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy, improve small business access to acquisition information and enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities. Therefore, is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government; no contract will be awarded from this announcement. A solicitation package is not available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this notice; neither will the Government reimburse any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. Once a solicitation is issued, the same will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website at: https://www.fbo.gov/ with sufficient time for all interested parties to respond accordingly.
