HEALTH ENTERPRISE STRATEGY/HEALTH INFORMATICS STRATEGY AMIRSYS - StatDX Premier (radiology diagnostic tool) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FORMAT A. GENERAL GUIDANCE 1. Title of Project: StatDX Premier 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide online access to radiologic images to assist with diagnosis along with training information and tests to improve radiologists' skills in making diagnoses from radiologic images. 3. Background: All radiologists need to exercise their diagnostic abilities and sometimes need a confirmation of a diagnosis made. This tool has been invaluable to VISN radiologists and radiology students. 4. Performance Period: The contract will cover the year September 2011 to September 2012. 5. Type of Contract: This is a firm-fixed-price agreement. B. CONTRACT AWARD MEETING No kick-off meeting is required. All will be handled via email. C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Vendor will provide access to STATdx,® designed to support the busy practicing radiologist, pathologist and other imaging professionals by increasing speed, accuracy and diagnostic confidence in complex cases. It will include over 4,500 diagnoses, 16,000 cases, and 200,000 images with concise, expert-based reference information. Key Facts, Terminology, Imaging Findings, Differential Diagnosis, Pathology, Clinical Issues, Diagnostic Checklist, and Selected References are included for each diagnosis and over 3,000 Anatomy modules, all labeled by multiple modalities and views are also available. Terminology, Imaging, Anatomy Overview, Anatomy Imaging Issues, and clinical implications. D. SPECIFIC MANDATORY TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES The Vendor will maintain the online access, provide statistics of use, add and change list of individuals with access as needed and provide support in use as needed. E. EVALUATED OPTIONAL FEATURES Everything in this order is standard to the Vendor's product. F. SCHEDULE FOR DELIVERABLES Online access will be available for an entire year 2011-2012. G. CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK Making changes to this statement of work will include the contracting agent/purchasing agent as well as a VANTHCS Library representative and the vendor. H. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS An annual statistical report is expected. I. TRAVEL No travel required. J. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES There are no items that the government must provide, other than a list of authorized users of the product. K. CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Qualifications of Key Personnel The vendor is highly experienced in the development and use of this product. The VISN 17 radiology employees have been using this product for more than a year. Time and Materials Task Orders This is an online service. There are no time and material task orders, other than providing the online access described herein. Firm-Fixed-Price Task Orders This is a firm-fixed-price for this product. L. CONFIDENTIALITY AND NONDISCLOSURE Standard mandatory language for all task orders. M. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL SECURITY REQUIREMENTS The vendor and its personnel will not have access to any of our computers, our networks nor our facilities as the item is provided online from a remote site over the Internet.
