This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition to procure brand name XPOlog Enterprise Package software maintenance. VA TAC intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract with an 12-month period of performance to XpoLog LTD, Kfar Truman 1, 73150, P.O.B. 174, Israel, pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The proposed solicitation number for this effort is VA118-16-Q-0812. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 511210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $38.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is October 1, 2015.
