This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), citizenship & Immigration Service (CIS) intends to contract with Accusoft Corporation, 71 Lyman Street, Northborough, MA 01532, at a firm fixed rate for software maintenance on Accusoft Imagegear for the period of 07/30/2005 to 07/29/2006. Service will be provided to: DHS, OCIO, 111 Massachusetts Ave, 5th Floor, Washington, DC, 20001. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Accusoft Corporation under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 ( c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. This notice is being solicited on a sole-source basis unless alternate sources are located.
