I. INTRODUCTION

A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

B. The combined synopsis and Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is: TARENG04208.

C. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-16, Effective 22 Mar 2007.

D. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 541511.

E. Basis for award Award shall be made on a sole source basis to Eurostep America, Inc.

II. GENERAL

A. The United States Army TACOM-LCMC in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for the following products / service:
" Share-A-space Server application version 6.0:
-PDM Server
-Physical Product Configuration Server
- PDM modules:
-Effectivity Module
-Engineering Change Module
-Workflow Module
- Physical Product Configuration Modules:
-Physical Product Maintenance Management Module
-Maintenance Design & Planning Module
- Integration modules:
-PLCS Web service module
- 1- A-space
- 20 Users with execution rights

Annual maintenance included for first year.
" Services & Lite Interface : Tailored lite user-interface software providing interaction and an access mechanism to interface with TARDECs LandSLIDE suite.
" Step Exporter for MS Excel : PDM Schema export from Excel: License for 10 seats.
" CMSTAT to Windchill mapper: License for 1 Windchill server.

B. NOTE 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which
the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotations must be received by TACOM no later than 4:00 P.M EST, 2008AUG22.
