The Government intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Intech for a regional information and intelligence sharing system for Barbados. Intech is the only known source for this requirement; Intech's software is currently being used in other Caribbean countries and compatibility is a key issue; Intech has system support in the region; and Intech's system is the only system authorized to be connected to the British Overseas Territories Regional Criminal Intelligence System.
