The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) announces the intent to enter into sole source negotiations and award of a follow-on delivery order to Workforce Technologies, Inc., 451A Carlisle Drive, Herndon, VA 20170 for maintenance and technical support of a Resume Builder. The DISA Manpower, Personnel, and Security (MPS) Directorate uses the proprietary technology of the Resume Builder product of WorkForce Technologies as a vital component of the automated resume intake and processing toolset used by the entire agency. This product was originally procured as the only one of its type and has been extensively customized over the years specifically for DISA’s use. DISA utilizes no manual resume processing; therefore, the current system represents the only means of applying for a position with the agency. This acquisition is for maintenance support for Resumix software. The period of performance will be for twelve months with an option to renew for an additional two periods of six months. It is the Government’s intent to make award utilizing GSA Schedule 70, General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software, and Services. It has been determined that a sole source award to Workforce Technologies for continued services is in the best interest of the Government and would best satisfy the Agency’s needs. This determination of the Government was made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(4) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. There is NO solicitation document.
