Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.201(b)(1)(ii), this notice is to publicize Army Contracting Command-APG-Belvoir Division's intent to negotiate a contract modification exclusively with Harris IT Services Corporation under Task Order No. W91QUZ-07-D-0001-BD01. The task order provides Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems (C4S) support for United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), Joint Task Force-Bravo Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. The proposed modification will extend the Period of Performance (PoP) for 30 days, to allow for inclusion of support phase-out work and to provide for orderly transition of support services from the incumbent Contractor to a prospective successor support Contractor. The level of effort increase was determined by the Government to be within the scope of the original task order. The Harris IT has successfully fulfilled the requirements on the task order and the continuity of support services is essential to support USSOUTHCOM's mission and objectives.

This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be issued. However, the Government will consider all responses to this notice. Responses shall be sent via email to Zun Lin, Contract Specialist at [email protected] no later than 3PM, EST, 13 August 2014.
