This synopsis is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a solicitation for preventive and remedial maintenance, including equipment modifications, equipment and software upgrades and changes, of the Air Mobility Advanced Console Systems (AMACS). The government is soliciting information to determine the availability of capable contractors that can perform maintenance on AMACS. The AMACS consist of the Siemens Model 80 EX Hicom Trading 300 switching system, consoles (Siemens touchscreen turrets), administrative terminals, uninterrupted power supply systems, interfaces to various radio networks, stations and trunks, speakers, NiceLog Digital Recorder system, headsets, handsets, foot pedals, and associated ancillary equipment. Maintenance will be performed at the following locations: Andrews AFB MD, Charleston AFB SC, Dover AFB DE, Dyess AFB TX, Grand Forks AFB ND, MacDill AFB FL, McChord AFB WA, McConnell AFB KS, McGuire AFB NJ, Pope AFB NC, Scott AFB IL, Travis AFB CA. A 2-hour response time on all trouble calls is required. The anticipated period of performance will be one year with four 1-year option periods.
