The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego, Contracting Department intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract on an other than full and open competition basis to Rome Research Corporation, 421 Ridge Street, Rome NY 13440-5600. Non-commercial procedures will be used. This requirement is for a three month contract with three three-month options for the operation and maintenance support of the Naval Radio Transmitting Facility (NRTF) Dixon California. The government has identified the services performed under this contract as essential contractor services in support of mission-essential functions that impact both the Navy and Air Force. The applicable NAICS code is 517410, business size: $15.0 mil. Service is expected to begin on 1 October 2012 through 30 September 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received by 7 September 2012, 3:00 pm PST will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based upon the responses and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
