The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC) on behalf of the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C) (1)-FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to I2, Inc. 1430 Spring Hill Road, suite 600 McLean VA 22102. I2 Incorporated is the owner and has full right and title to I2 Analysts Notebooks. Analyst's Notebook part of the i2 Intelligence-Led Operations Platform, delivers the richest assisted analysis and visualization capabilities in the world to support analysts in quickly turning large sets of disparate information into high-quality and actionable intelligence to prevent crime and terrorism. The Department of Defense (DOD), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) requires hardware and software licenses to support the agency mission. This particular software is currently in use within the agency. It has proven to operate effectively with agency hardware, desktop operating systems and server operating systems offering thin client environments.


This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. This sole-source contract was limited to the least amount of time necessary to obtain full and open competition as soon as possible. Phone calls will not be accepted.
