Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to negotiate on a sole make and model basis as all or none, with Value Added Resellers (VARs) of NetIQ Corporation for NetIQ AppManager and Security Manager agents for application performance and host based security monitoring and maintenance in support of the Continuous Operations Messaging (COM), Common Badging Access Control System (CBACS), and the NASA Integrated Services Environment (NISE) for the NASA Data Center (NDC) at the Marshall Space Flight Center, AL ) MSFC. Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to purchase these items from Value Added Resellers (VARs) of NetIQ pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, which implements the statutory authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) for acquisition of a specific make, model, or services available from only one or a limited number of sources. Interested firms have until Dec 22, 2005 4:00 PM CST to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, the attached Request for Quote, and all associated paper work per the special instructions.
