The Government intends to place a delivery order in accordance with FAR 8.405-1 for Motorola’s HT1250 136-174 MHZ 128 CH 1-5W DISPLAY-LIMITED KEYPAD (Radios) and accessories.The Government intends to procure the HT1250 portable Two-Way Radios on a sole source basis from Motorola because Motorola does not have any authorized resellers and the Federal Government can only procure this radio through Motorola’s GSA Schedule GS-35F-0004L. The Government also intends to procure the following open market accessories from Motorola because they are all upgrades or downgrades that come with the radio exclusively sold by Motorola: Deletion of 120V Rapid Rate Charger, addition of 120 Volt 6 Unit Rapid Rate and the Remote Speaker Microphones. The Government reserves the right to make a split award due to the fact that some items are exclusively available through Motorola’s GSA Schedule and others are open market. The open market items, which are not on the Federal Supply Schedule and are not upgrades or downgrades that come with the radio, are the 120 Volt 6 Unit Rapid Rate Intell-AAHTN3003D, the NIMH, 1800 MAH 7.5V Battery-INTR HNN9010 R and the HT1250 User Guide 6881088C37.
