Pursuant to FAR 5.201 this is a notice of intent to request a sole source action. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a sole source requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C.(c)(1), as implemented by to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Army Contract Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA), 350 Vandenberg Street, Peterson AFB, CO 80914 intends to require Exelis Systems Corporation (formerly known as ITT Systems Corporation), under Contract W91260-12-C-0001, to purchase MaxView Software upgrades and maintenance. Contract W91260-12-C-0001 was competed as a full and open competition under NAICS Code 517919. Exelis Systems Corporation was awarded Contract W91260-12-C-0001. ACC-RSA-CCAM-CAC intends to execute a modification to Contract W91260-12-C-0001 no later than 27 September 2012.
