The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with JSI (JATOM Systems), Sterling, VA, to purchase a maintenance contract for one base and four option years, starting October 1, 2005. Maintenance will be for proprietary JSI products, server platforms, and software. Due to the proprietary nature of their products and software, no other source can meet the needs of the Government.
