NASA/KSC has a requirement for: -MagicDraw UMLSoftware Assurance for Teamwork Server, over 10 connections (Qty 1 each), -MagicDraw UMLSoftware Assurance for Enterprise Edition Floating License (Qty 24 each), -Merge Plugin Software Assurance for Floating License (Qty 5 each), -Cameo DataHub Software Assurance for Floating License (Qty 10 each) NASA/KSC intends to purchase MagicDraw (product of No Magic, Inc), pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) and 13.106-3(b)(3)(i) the circumstances of this acquisition deem there are limited sources available due to brand name requirement. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement action is a total small business set-aside, NAICS Code 511210, Size Standard $25M. In order to participate, the vendor shall be an authorized reseller of MagicDraw. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ will require the potential vendor to be certified within the System for Award Management (SAM) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) Databases prior to award. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than May 15, 2013.
