The 38 EIG/PKK intends to issue a solitication on a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 338 RCS/RSSL (KY Site). The solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Dec 07. The proposed contract will be for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by the Kentucky Public Service Commission shall provide local commercial communications service for 338 RCS/RSSL, Recruiter site located in Ashland KY.Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, DSL, voice mail, directory number and number portability, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAICS 517110 with size standard of 1500 employees.
