The 38 EIG/PKK has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 343 RCS/RSSL (IA Sites). The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by the Iowa Utilities Board shall provide local commercial communications service for 343 RCS/RSSL, Recruiter Sites located in Des Moines IA; Urbandale IA; Ames IA; Ottumwa IA; West Burlington IA; Coralville IA; Council Bluffs IA; Sioux City IA; Dubuque IA; Davenport IA Cedar Rapids IA; Mason City IA; Spencer IA; Iowa City IA and Waterloo IA.Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, DSL, voice mail, directory number and number portability, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
