Market survey for the Project Manager (PM) Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)

BACKGROUND
The Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) system is a battlefield digitization system. FBCB2 provides integrated, on-the-move, real-time Situational Awareness (SA) and Command and Control (C2) information to all tactical combat, combat support and combat service support commanders, leaders and soldiers. This capability is fielded from Brigade down to the soldier level across all Battlefield Functional Areas(BFAs), including other division and Corps elements necessary to support Brigade operations. Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system is currently being used across several FBCB2 products. FBCB2 currently fielded baselines (FBCB2 v6.5 & JCR) as well as JBC-P (CS13-14) require an equivalent operating system and support.

It should be noted that this procurement supports ongoing military activity. The Government needs to better understand what is available in industry. Sources that are interested are requested to provide a response and include cost estimates. Responders may be provided a follow up questionnaire tailored to their response.
