This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to the Group 2000 Nederland B.V.
The DEA has an immediate need for the lease of a proven lawful interception solution for Nokia GSM Mobile Switching Centers (MSCs) and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) components without incorporating the use of a Nokia Lawful Interception Gateway (LIG).
Group 2000?s LIMA lawful interception solution is capable of intercepting circuit switched Interception Related Information (IRI) and Communications Content (CC) as well as packet switched Control Data and Payload Data without the use of an additional Nokia LIG. Group 2000 has developed a sophisticated proprietary protocol to accomplish the interceptions, perform mediation of the intercepted channels, and provide delivery of the intercepted channels without the need for third party vendors or additional equipment.
As a result Group 2000 Nederland B.V. is the only responsible source to provide the necessary capability to support this DEA communication need.
