NDIA-GHRC in partnership with USJFCOM, will be hosting an Industry Symposium on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 05-06, 2005. This event will be conducted at the Renaissance Hotel and Conference Center in Portsmouth, VA. This year’s theme is, “Joint Command and Control from the Warfighter’s Perspective.” The symposium is designed to exchange information with industry, to describe where USJFCOM is heading and what assistance is needed from industry, and to provide an environment for industry and the Department of Defense to work together, event organizers stated. The Symposium will consist of presentations by the Commander, USJFCOM (ADM E.P. Giambastiani), key directorates of USJFCOM, and members of NDIA in panel discussions format. Current high-level members of the Department of Defense have been invited to serve as “keynote” speakers for the luncheons on 05 and 06 April. The Symposium will also provide space for the members of Industry to display information about their organization’s capabilities.
